Geo-Hydro performed construction materials testing and Special Inspections services for the construction of two single story speculative warehouses totaling approximately 1,000,000 square-feet.  The buildings were steel framed with concrete tilt-panel walls with slab-on-grade supported by shallow foundations. In addition to parking lots, drive lanes, and truck courts, approximately 2,000 LF of new roadway was constructed to access the property. Site work consisted of about 550,000 CY of cuts and fills, with some fill sections in excess of 40 feet.  Mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) walls were used throughout the site to achieve design grades.  Cement stabilization was used to facilitate the construction of parking lots.
