Geo-Hydro is currently performing construction materials testing, Special Inspections, and NPDES Compliance services on roadway extension located along SR 293 in Emerson, Georgia. The project consists of a spur road that extends LakePoint Parkway northward to connect to Red Top Mountain Road, and it involves approximately 7,800 lineal feet of new road construction, a bridge, and mechanically stabilized earth walls at the bridge abutments. Construction for this project takes place from Old Allatoona Road to Red Top Mountain Road. Geo-Hydro’s construction materials testing and Special Inspection services scope includes concrete testing, soil testing, asphalt placement monitoring, and testing, and observation of reinforcing steel.
