Geo-Hydro provided construction materials testing and Special Inspections services for the construction of an office building in Greensboro, North Carolina for Charles Aris, Inc. The project involved the construction of a three-story, 31,000 square-foot office building utilizing the existing building at the side.  The work included partially demolishing the basement and first floor of the existing building and then adding the second and third levels to the top. The building’s construction consists of precast concrete masonry walls, structural steel columns, and concrete decking supported on shallow spread foundations.
