Cartersville High School Additions and Renovations

Project Detail

Geo-Hydro provided construction materials testing and special inspections on the project which included of the construction of a new STEM building and gymnasium for Cartersville City Schools.  An approximate 93,000 square-foot three-story building was constructed on aggregate piers and the project included an additional 12,000 square-feet of classroom renovation.  The new building also provided a seamless connection between the school and the stadium. The campus was constructed on sloping property and utilized ten modular retaining walls and a 70-foot tall, reinforced earth slope in the site design.
