GASFA Spring Conference at Lanier Tech Hall Campus

Last week, some of Geo-Hydro’s team members attended the GASFA (Georgia Association of State Facilities Administrators) 2019 Spring Conference at Lanier Technical College Hall Campus. The conference gave us the opportunity to network and to attend presentations on state construction-related topics while enjoying the new Lanier Tech Hall Campus. As a long-time sponsor of GASFA, Geo-Hydro was proud to see its continued success. However, as a member of the project team for the Lanier Tech Hall Campus, our involvement with the GASFA 2019 Spring Conference began even before its planning took place.

Geo-Hydro provided construction materials testing, Special Inspections, and NPDES Compliance services for the construction of Lanier Tech Hall Campus in Gainesville, Georgia. With construction commencing in 2016 and the campus opening in January of this year, Geo-Hydro worked on this project for three years. The $75 million Lanier Tech Hall Campus, which includes six buildings, spans over 95-acres and approximately 335,000 square feet. The campus offers a variety of programs that provide academic, continuing education, and workforce development training opportunities. The new campus can serve 5,000 students, doubling Lanier Tech's prior capacity.

The Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC), on behalf of the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG), served as the contracts administrator for this Lanier Technical College project. Geo-Hydro partnered with the architects, Stevens & Wilkinson and Pond & Company, as well as the general contractors, New South Construction and Carroll Daniel Construction, on this project.

Geo-Hydro is honored to have participated in this project, and we are proud to see the Lanier Tech Hall Campus come to life!
