Geo-Hydro performed construction materials testing, Special Inspections, and NPDES Compliance services on the Springhill Suites hotel complex located off South Hull Street in Athens, Georgia. The project included the construction of an eight-story hotel with a four-story, precast concrete parking deck adjacent to the hotel. The construction for this project consisted of slab-on-grade, hollow core elevated slabs, post-tensioned slabs, cast-in-place concrete columns, structural masonry, and structural steel. A deep foundations system with auger cast piles support the building.
