Geo-Hydro provided geotechnical engineering, Special Inspections, and construction materials testing services for new, $25M Qorvo building in Greensboro, North Carolina. The three-story building includes 150,000 square-feet of office and laboratory space. The building’s construction consists of concrete masonry walls, structural steel framing, and precast concrete with slab-on-grade floors. Geo-Hydro also provided substantial geotechnical engineering to evaluate deep poorly compacted fill soils at the site.
