Geo-Hydro performed construction materials testing and Special Inspection services on this Marriott Fairfield Inn & Suites located off Park Road in Pineville, North Carolina.  The project entailed the construction of a four-story, 54,652 SF hotel. The building’s construction consists of slab-on-grade, structural masonry stair towers and elevator shaft, and structural steel and wood framing. Shallow foundations support the building.  Site improvements for the project included asphalt and concrete pavements, site utilities, and a water quality pond.
