Mason Berryman, P.E., LEED AP, is a Principal Engineer at Geo‑Hydro Engineers with three decades of experience in geotechnical, environmental, and construction materials engineering. As a longtime leader at the firm, Mason has developed deep expertise in geotechnical evaluations, foundation systems, environmental due‑diligence, Special Inspections, and forensic investigations. He has contributed to major institutional, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects across the Southeast. An Atlanta native, Mason has spent 30 years with Geo‑Hydro, shaping the company’s technical capabilities and its commitment to education and client service. In addition to his engineering leadership, he directs Client Solutions & Education, delivering AIA approved programs on soils, foundations, seismic design, environmental assessments, and pavement performance. Mason earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Thomas M. Baglivo, P.E., serves as Principal and Director of North Carolina Operations at Geo‑Hydro Engineers, where he leads regional strategy, project delivery, and team development across the firm’s Charlotte, Greensboro, and Raleigh offices. He has been with Geo‑Hydro for over two decades, progressing through roles that include Staff Professional, Project Manager, and Charlotte Branch Manager before assuming his current leadership position as NC Operations Manager. Thomas brings extensive experience in construction materials testing and special inspections for projects across all market sectors. His technical foundation is supported by his his B.S. in Construction Engineering from Kennesaw State University (formerly Southern Polytechnic State University). Known for his collaborative leadership style and commitment to quality, Thomas plays a key role in advancing Geo‑Hydro’s mission to deliver practical, reliable, and responsive engineering solutions throughout North Carolina and the Southeast.

Michael Woody, P.E., is a Principal and the Director of Construction Materials Testing at Geo‑Hydro Engineers, bringing 27 years of experience to the firm. He began his career with Geo‑Hydro in 1999 as an intern and advanced through multiple technical and leadership roles. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University (2001) and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Kennesaw State University (2019). His professional credentials include Georgia Professional Engineer licensure and an extensive list of ICC and NICET certifications, including Master of Special Inspection, Structural Steel & Welding, Reinforced Concrete, Masonry, Soils, Pre‑Stressed Concrete, and NICET Level 3 certifications in soils, concrete, and asphalt, along with NPDES Level 1B. Brian K. Ingram, P.E., serves as Principal and Director of Georgia Operations at Geo‑Hydro Engineers, bringing 29 years of experience, including 23 years with the firm. He is a seasoned geotechnical engineer with a strong background in subsurface evaluations, deep foundation systems, construction materials testing, and geotechnical design support. Throughout his career, Brian has managed a wide range of projects across Georgia, including commercial developments, higher education facilities, water and wastewater infrastructure, industrial campuses, and transportation improvements. His responsibilities have included project scoping, budget development, foundation evaluations, site characterization, boring layout, and preparation of geotechnical reports. As Director of Georgia Operations, Brian leads project teams across Geo‑Hydro’s Georgia offices, supporting clients with practical, data-driven engineering solutions. His long tenure reflects a commitment to quality, technical excellence, and responsive service that continues to strengthen Geo‑Hydro’s presence throughout the region.

Marty Peninger, P.E., serves as Principal and Director of Geotechnical Services at Geo‑Hydro Engineers, bringing two decades of dedicated experience with the firm. Over his 20‑year tenure, he has advanced through key geotechnical roles, including Staff Engineer, Senior Geotechnical Engineer, and Georgia Geotechnical Services Manager, gaining broad expertise in subsurface characterization, foundation design support, and geotechnical evaluations for public and private developments. Marty’s project portfolio spans commercial, institutional, infrastructure, and specialty assignments, including unique National Park Service projects in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, where he provided geotechnical solutions for slope stabilization and structural support in challenging environments. His leadership emphasizes practical design approaches, responsive client service, and mentoring the next generation of geotechnical professionals. A graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, Marty applies deep technical understanding and collaborative problem‑solving to guide Geo‑Hydro’s geotechnical practice across the Southeast.

Phil Barber, P.E., is Managing Principal at Geo‑Hydro Engineers with 39 years of experience. He specializes in geotechnical engineering, pavement design, site development, foundation evaluations, and materials testing, overseeing complex projects across higher education, commercial, industrial, and municipal sectors. Phil holds a Civil Engineering Technology degree from Southern College of Technology (now Kennesaw State University). His leadership has helped Geo-Hydro expand to six offices in Georgia and North Carolina and drive double-digit growth, enabling employee ownership and a smooth internal transition. Phil is known for his commitment to quality, client service, and mentoring teams.

Luis Babler serves as Chief Engineer at Geo-Hydro Engineers, where he has been part of the firm for more than 35 years. In this role, he supports Geo-Hydro’s engineering practice through project oversight, technical review, design evaluation, and mentoring of engineering staff. Luis has experience across a broad range of project types, including water and wastewater infrastructure, deep and shallow foundations, pavement design, industrial facilities, educational campuses, parking structures, and forensic investigations. His approach emphasizes practical solutions informed by field experience and sound engineering judgment. Luis earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Rafael Urdaneta University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Georgia. He was recognized as the 2021 Georgia Engineer of the Year in Private Practice for his contributions to the profession. At Geo-Hydro, Luis remains committed to technical excellence, collaboration, and the continued development of the firm’s engineering team.

Jarrett Baggett, P.G., serves as Principal and Director of Environmental Services at Geo‑Hydro Engineers, bringing more than 20 years of environmental consulting experience, including 12 years with the firm. He leads Geo‑Hydro’s environmental practice across the Southeast, managing multidisciplinary teams of geologists, engineers, and environmental scientists who support industrial, commercial, agricultural, and real estate clients with comprehensive site assessment and remediation services. Jarrett’s background spans Phase I and II environmental site assessments, groundwater remediation, sediment and erosion control, brownfield redevelopment, and regulatory compliance. His experience includes progressive roles from staff geologist to project manager and site operations manager before joining Geo‑Hydro, giving him a strong technical and managerial foundation. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Tennessee–Knoxville and maintains Professional Geologist licensure across multiple states. Jarrett is known for his practical solutions, client‑focused approach, and commitment to improving environmental quality through responsible project delivery.
