Heroes Elementary School is a 2-story structural masonry steel building. The parking lots and interior drives were paved directly over cement-treated soil. The project also included half a mile of offsite sewer pipe installation to connect to the county system. During construction Geo-Hydro provided a full suite of Special Inspection and testing services including NPDES inspections, observation and testing for earthwork, shallow foundation observation, observation of reinforcing steel, concrete testing, structural masonry and structural steel inspection, and asphalt and cement-treated soil testing.
