Jeremy Roberts Obtains Master of Special Inspection Certification
Geo-Hydro is pleased to announce that Jeremy Roberts, a Senior Engineering Technician in Geo-Hydro’s Kennesaw office, has obtained the Master of Special Inspection Certification from the International Code Council (ICC).
Jeremy Roberts is a seasoned engineering technician who has been with Geo-Hydro for five years. He specializes in construction materials testing and special inspection. The Master of Special Inspection Certification adds to Roberts’ vast range of certifications he has obtained in his time with Geo-Hydro.
The International Code Council (ICC) establishes codes and standards used in the design, build, and compliance process of safe, resilient, and structurally sound buildings and other structures. The Master of Special Inspection designation is one of the top tier certifications the ICC offers in the field of Special Inspection. Those who meet the criteria for the Master of Special Inspection designation exhibit commitment to the Special Inspection program, a deep knowledge of applicable standards, and leadership in the field.
Individuals with the Master of Special Inspection designation must possess certification in at least the following areas:
- Structural Welding Special Inspector
- Structural Steel and Bolting Special Inspector
- Structural Masonry Special Inspector
- Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector
- ACI (American Concrete Institute) Field Technician
